As I sit here staring out into a green world full of sunshine and warmth I do my best to gather up my thoughts and to write them out. I am trying to find the perfect words to describe the kind of experience Joe and I have had in Alaska. It is hard to capture in words and even in pictures the kinds of things we have experienced and felt being here. But what comes to mind are these two words: ADVENTURE and JOURNEY...

Living in Alaska for these last 6 months has been an incredible journey and adventure. It has been a journey of learning. A journey of gaining more knowledge about each other, myself personally, and God. It has been an adventure of excitement, enjoyment, and happiness. The fears that I once had coming hear have long dried up and withered away and the love that I feel and have for Alaska is indescribable.
